Going to the LAUNCH Conference!

The Launch Conference is just a few days away! It is so exciting to be a part of Mougg and show the influential guests the service in the Launch Pad at the LAUNCH Conference. The Launch Conference will be similar to the Tech Crunch 50 conference as one of the co-founders has started Launch. Well I actually know it is going to be better! There is NO BETTER WAY to get your company off the ground than to be at this event. It will be filled with top VCs, Press and like minded brilliant people.

How did I get Invited to LAUNCH?

I was fortunate to be a "Shark Tank" guest on This Week in Startups with Jason Calacanis. According to Rob the producer, the episode is expected to air the day before the conference. (SWEET!) I feel like I absolutely nailed the 1 minute pitch. Jason's guest rated my pitch a 9.9! Speaking is one of my strong points and I was very confident. It also helped that I am a SUPER FAN of TWIST and have learned a lot on how to pitch. Might of had a glass of wine as well. Our product ROCKS so it does make it easier. Who wouldn't want their music in the cloud to be played on any device? At the end of the segment Jason graciously offered me a table in the Launch Pad at the conference to show off Mougg. There will be 100 companies presenting in the Launch Pad area. An exciting element is there is a chance for 2 - 3 companies to actually present on stage! I couldn't imagine getting chosen but know I would get the croud fired up about Mougg.

Presentation Display?

Oh this is still a secret! Well it has not been fully put together but the visual is looking good relative to the amount of space available. I am lucky to have done many large events around the country. The experience will come in handy!

Travel?

I used some of my SkyMiles from trips to Bangkok to get a direct flight for $5. Not a bad deal! Still working on the hotel accommodations.

Overal?

I know this is going to be an experience of a lifetime. It seems the term of the past 6 months is #PIVOT and oh do I have a story to tell. From international product development, logistics and the fall of value of the US currency... Now back into my passion of tech startups. 2011 is going to be a wild ride!
