Use your Facebook Fan Page to Ask Question

I cant express the importance of a business to utilize the power of their Facebook Fan Page. One idea on how to get the most out of your businesses fan page is to ask your fans questions. I recently did this for the CurrySimple Fan Page and got some great results. As a business owner you will always try and figure out what source is working best to obtain customers. At this point you can focus on where to put more or less marketing dollars.

This is what I asked:

"CurrySimple is wondering how you found out about CurrySimple..? Google Ad? Friend? Family? Food Show? YouTube? iTunes? Search Online? Please let us know..!"

You will notice that I put some sources of where I know I advertise or can be easily found. It is also a reminder for where people can find information about your company. You will see I listed YouTube. Some people might have never known we have some great videos on YouTube and will watch them. If I just asked "CurrySimple is wondering how you found out about CurrySimple..?" I probably would have not had as good of a response.

Here is some of the feedback I have received so far:

Chris Dalessio - Friend

Cathy Crowder Corda - on line search... btw: We love your products!

Helen Langdon Hyatt - Metro Cooking and Entertaining Show in DC

Julia Schreuder - How to be a wok star website!! Eleanor Hoh!!

Marcia Brown - trade show - Southern Women's Show...and I LOVE CurrySimple! Wish someone in Charlotte would stock it!

Kody Cage - Amazon

Bruce Lager - Just cruising through Thai cooking sites on the net...

Sharon Zohar - A friend who had just attended a gourmet food expo where you had a table who realized that some of your products would be safe with regard to my food sensitivities.

Nancy Singer - Was googling for Thai Tea syrup.

Spencer Valli - Friend, and spread further ... Yummy.

Rani Krishnan - YouTube

Lisa Hudecek-Hagman - Google search for Thai foods

Skyler Forshage - searching for how to make Thai Tea. Found your extract and love it to death! Can't wait to order more stuff from ya

Stephanie DiGiovanni Shadix - would like to find you at PUBLIX! :)

This shows us that most of the places we focus our marketing attention to are working. From posting videos on YouTube, Food Shows and internet searches. Of course to hear word of mouth marketing from a "Friend" is the best the most powerful available. Companies work so hard on getting their customers to become their Fans but under utilize the power. Start engaging you customers with questions and make them interact with you.
