I was just approved as a writer for the Yahoo! Contributor Network!

Articles I write will be featured on the Associated Content site as well as their partners. Am I making a career path to becoming a writer? No I don't think so! Although I find that if you have a purpose for a project of any kind you will become better at it. Before starting CurrySimple in 2006 I was basically a HORRIBLE writer. Since then I have had to write extensively for site content, recipes, emails, dealing with press and a million other things for business.

Why was I such a bad writer? I can honestly say I NEVER read a book in High School. That doesn't help! I have since become a huge fan of non-fiction business books with high hopes of creating a brand, product or service that will one day be exciting enough to be written about. I feel reading will make you a better writer. You start to see different styles and patterns. You have to find your own. My style of writing compliments my personality. A reason I am often featured in the media is that I write to excite. Quick, short and simple. No fluff!
