Hosted by the beautiful Akua Robinson in the Friends in Beauty podcast, I told the story of my uprising before establishing Private Label.
Inspired by my mother and grandmother, in the early days of my life in Bethesda, I understood the importance of hard work.
I had some undiagnosed learning difficulties that made my education a nightmare, so I fought through by running a lemon stand and trading sports cards.
It didn’t stop here!
The First Packed Thai Sauce Brand
I later started CurrySimple, but it was a failure, unfortunately, but it’s my greatest learning resource.
I learnt about importing, supply chains, and entrepreneurship.
This laid a strong ground for Private Label.

The Private Label Brand Tree
Eleven years ago, I started Private Label, which grew to Dropship Beauty, Dropship Bundles, Private Label Branding, and Private Label Wholesale to serve all types of business owners in the hair industry simply by cutting the supply chain with central warehouses in Georgia.
With plans to get to the West Coast to explore more venues. The key to this success is system building, smart hiring, and continuous learning.
I avoid overspending on lifestyle and pay my employees fairly, with some who have been with us for more than 10 years.
And reinvesting most of the earnings into the business to grow without expanding myself thin.

Marketing Strategy for New E-Commerce Brands
Simple clean branding make it easy to be remembered, don’t overuse your assets to make a noisy representation of your brand.
Content creation is a free way to go viral through videos or generate traffic through blogs.
The free flow of customers should be managed well through a good customer experience and interface to increase your conversions.
Along with starting a conversation with your audience, appreciate their feedback.
