CurrySimple got a little case study on Specialty Food Resource to figure out the anatomy of our success and our plans for the future.

Our vision was structured around expanding to all of the U.S.A. and Canada. U.K., and Australia.

And adding more products besides the 19 Thai sauces we already have, this was before I started Private Label.

How to be a Successful Entrepreneur?

Staying in business is always a win; keeping it afloat is a win, and maintaining its growth even at the smallest fraction is a win.

You need to be in a mental state that enables you to stay calm during unexpected disasters, so it starts within your lifestyle and health, even if you find it hard to achieve a work-life balance in the beginning.

But you won’t be fulfilled by the balance sheets unless you’re fulfilled by getting the job done day after day.

How to Create a Buzz for Your Business?

It took us a year to get the needed recognition, but what helped was getting featured on the Washington Post 3 months after launching.

And we then grow steadily over the following 2 years. A buzz will happen when you create something that delights your audience's lives, something that gives them the ‘’Aha’’ moment, and solves a problem that has been there for a while.

Unless that, you’re just pouring money into your business to sound like everybody else.

Even without a PR team, you can do the outreach to the media outlets yourself, and they will be intrigued by your exciting creation.

Don’t get a loan unless it’s a very big business, and depend on your personal savings.

How to Fund Your Start-Up?

Don’t quit your job too early; you need to build your business beside your day job at first.

You don’t need to be overly dramatic and think about burning bridges.

You will know when to quit, it’s when you get a stable flow after a few months. Some people try to get debt-free grants, so you might want to look into that.

But overall, don’t get a loan unless it’s a very big business, and depend on your personal savings.
